If moisture combines with ester-based oils (POE) or halogenated gases, it creates corrosive acids that ruin compressor motor insulation. Copper filter driers act as the first line of defense, physically trapping dirt and chemically bonding with trace moisture via molecular sieves to ensure stable cooling.

What is the difference between 3A and 4A molecular sieve desiccant beads?

We strictly utilize 3A molecular sieves (pore size of 3 Angstroms) for our HVAC driers. 3A molecular sieves are optimized to absorb water (diameter ~2.8 Angstroms) while excluding refrigerant molecules like R134a, R32, or R290.
