Explore our premium range of copper filter driers, fittings, valves, and refrigeration accessories, engineered with ISO 9001 quality controls for industrial reliability.
In modern vapor-compression refrigeration loops, the hermetic integrity of the system determines its efficiency and lifespan. External contaminants—principally moisture (water vapor), atmospheric acids, and solid physical debris—represent the primary catalysts for catastrophic system failures. A Filter Drier acts as the vital filtration sentinel within the liquid line, mitigating these chemical vulnerabilities to protect compressors and expansion valves.
Residual moisture reacts with hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) or hydrofluoroolefin (HFO) refrigerants and POE/PAG oils, creating hydrofluoric acid. Effective adsorption is critical to prevent metal etching and copper plating on compressor bearings.
Using solid cores formulated with high-grade activated alumina or customized molecular sieve ratios, our driers chemically bind and neutralize harmful inorganic acids before they compromise the motor windings.
Microscopic wear debris, flux oxides, and metallic scale are mechanically isolated via progressive density fiber media, preventing downstream blockages within delicate capillary tubes.
Founded in 1988, Ningbo Taojun Refrigeration Equipment Co., Ltd. (formerly the Xiangshan Refrigeration Accessories Factory of Zhejiang University) is a key manufacturer of refrigeration components. Over three decades, we have evolved from a specialized university spin-off laboratory into a high-tech enterprise. Our core capabilities span design, R&D, precision manufacturing, and comprehensive testing of commercial and domestic refrigeration parts.
Under the national brand "Lingshan", our components are widely used by major domestic and international brands including Haier, Xinfei, Midea, Gree, Whirlpool, Electrolux, and Huarui. Our global supply footprint reaches markets across Europe, North America, South America, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.
The global refrigeration industry is undergoing a critical transition. Prompted by international mandates like the Kigali Amendment and the EU F-Gas Regulation, traditional hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) with high Global Warming Potential (GWP) are being phased out. They are being replaced by eco-friendly alternatives: natural refrigerants like Isobutane (R600a), Propane (R290), and Carbon Dioxide (R744), alongside hydrofluoroolefins (HFOs like R1234yf).
This chemical shift impacts filtration requirements. Many new refrigerants, particularly natural hydrocarbons and synthetic HFOs, exhibit different solubilities and thermodynamic interactions with compressor lubricants (such as polyol ester / POE oils). POE lubricants are highly hygroscopic—adsorbing environmental moisture at rates up to 100 times greater than traditional mineral oils. If moisture enters the system, it rapidly breaks down the POE oil back into its organic acid components, resulting in bearing wear, copper plating, and electric motor isolation failures.
To prevent this degradation, modern copper and molecular sieve filter driers must offer increased water capacity and chemical neutrality. Our filter driers utilize high-purity 3A molecular sieves, which exclude refrigerant molecules from their crystalline pore structures, targeting only water molecules (approx. 2.8Å). This prevents chemical breakdown of the refrigerant itself while maintaining high drying efficiency.
Our components are built to meet the rigorous demands of modern refrigeration loops, featuring robust materials, high-density desiccants, and automated welding.
Constructed from high-purity C12200 copper piping. Provides high corrosion resistance and structural pressure tolerance, preventing degradation in varying thermal conditions.
Features 3A molecular sieve cores (water adsorption ≥ 20%) paired with activated carbon. Provides moisture capture and acid neutralization without adsorbing refrigerants.
Utilizes precise orbital argon arc welding and automatic end spinning. Minimizes joint complexity to ensure hermetic seals capable of passing high-pressure helium leak tests.
Over 35 years of engineering experience and collaboration with leading universities ensure consistent quality and reliable delivery.
Our core production lines, forming machinery, and inspection systems are sourced from German manufacturers, allowing us to maintain tight dimensional tolerances (±0.02mm) across high-volume production runs.
Our research and development center employs 15 engineers, including PhDs and professors from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), focused on thermodynamic flow simulations and desiccant materials science.
We supply customized shell configurations, tube extensions, multi-port connectors, and specific desiccant volumes tailored to our partners' system layouts, with low MOQs starting at 500 units.
We source raw materials from vetted suppliers. Our high-stability ITO film and liquid crystal spacers are sourced directly from Japan, and our processing adhesives are imported from Europe to maintain environmental compliance.
Finished products undergo strict testing: high-and-low temperature cycling (-35°C to 75°C for 500 hours), thermal shock testing, and 100V high-voltage insulation tests for active components.
Our Manufacturing Execution System (MES) tracks raw material batches, welding statistics, and helium testing results in real-time, providing digital traceability for every production run.

As refrigeration systems move toward high-pressure natural refrigerants like R744 (CO2) and ultra-low charge HFO systems, filtration design must continue to adapt. Operating pressures for CO2 loops can exceed 120 bar, requiring thicker copper walls or reinforced steel shells.
We are developing filter driers with reinforced structural profiles to safely handle the high operating pressures of transcritical CO2 systems, while maintaining low pressure drop across the desiccant bed.
Researching custom synthetic desiccants designed to increase moisture adsorption speed and capacity in compact system formats, supporting the industry shift toward smaller refrigerant charges.
