The single-phase shaded pole motor is characterized by its simple construction, high reliability, and low electromagnetic interference. Standard units utilize a copper ring (the shading coil) around a portion of each stator pole. This creates a delayed magnetic phase difference, generating the starting torque required to drive evaporative fan blades.
Our motors feature high-purity silicon steel laminations and class-F insulated copper windings, allowing stable thermal operation under continuous load.
