Premium OEM/ODM hardware engineered for peak thermodynamic reliability and clean cycles
Within complex heat-exchange refrigeration loops, system contaminants such as water vapor, hydrofluoric acid residues, and microscopic wear particulates represent structural hazards. The DML-053 filter drier operates as a defense mechanism inside the liquid line, maintaining dry, neutral, and clean cycles.
Engineered with a solid-core matrix consisting of 100% 3A molecular sieve desiccant, DML-053 is designed to deliver water absorption capacity while maintaining system pressure drop at minimal levels. Unlike legacy loose-filled desiccants that suffer from settling and structural bypass, our DML-053 cores guarantee constant exposure to the refrigerant flow, ensuring that even trace moisture molecules are safely trapped within the crystalline aluminosilicate structures.
By preventing chemical reactions between water molecules and ester-based lubricants (POE/PAG), this component halts the formation of corrosive acids. For global manufacturers and refrigeration maintainers, implementing high-grade DML-053 components is a strategy to extend compressor operational lifespans and sustain thermodynamic efficiency.

Originating in 1988 as the Xiangshan Refrigeration Accessories Factory of Zhejiang University, Ningbo Taojun Refrigeration Equipment Co., Ltd. has developed into a high-tech manufacturing firm based in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, China.
Over the last 30 years, we have transitioned from a specialized academic workshop to a comprehensive industrial enterprise. Today, Taojun integrates full-cycle design, technical research and development, smart manufacturing, global export sales, and lifetime technical support for high-precision refrigeration accessories.
Under the brand names "Lingshan" (domestic) and "Taojun" (international), we manufacture and deliver components including copper/aluminum filter driers, check valves, service/access valves, wire tube condensers, and custom brass connectors. The molecular engineering behind DML-053 filter driers
Constructed utilizing 100% 3A molecular sieve. The potassium-doped crystalline structures feature a pore opening diameter of 3Å, which selectively captures water molecules (kinetic diameter ~2.6Å) while excluding larger refrigerant molecules like HFC-R134a or HFOs.
By trapping trace moisture, the solid core limits the breakdown of synthetic lubricants (POE/PAG) into corrosive acids, preventing the degradation of copper stator windings and compressor motor insulation.
Our manufacturing line employs automated argon arc welding for the filter drier shell. This creates a weld seam capable of resisting bursts under high pressure, maintaining leak-free performance under variable thermal expansion cycles.
The core configuration maximizes active filtration surface area relative to external package volume. This design achieves high contaminant capture capacity while keeping flow resistance minimal, helping systems maintain a higher COP.
Advanced tooling and quality control systems supporting OEM and ODM partners
Our core production machinery is sourced from German manufacturers. Automated tube cutters, orbital copper welders, and precise core insertion presses ensure high-precision dimensional tolerances across production batches.
Our research and development team includes 15 engineers, including doctors and professors with backgrounds from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). This team develops high-efficiency desiccant matrices for variable temperature environments.
We supply custom component configurations, outer dimensions, connection sizes, and specific molecular sieve weights. Our flexible lines support customized runs with minimum order quantities designed for OEM applications.
Our raw materials are sourced from qualified suppliers: high-purity oxygen-free copper, Japanese import liquid crystal components with low shrinkage rates, and European high-temperature resins designed to withstand 80-90°C continuously.
Our testing protocols include 500-hour environmental chambers at temperatures from -35°C to 75°C, thermal shock cycles from 10°C to 90°C, and 100V high-voltage insulation tests on electromechanical variants to verify operational reliability.
The global HVAC/R market is adapting to environmental initiatives, including the Kigali Amendment to the Montreal Protocol and the European F-Gas Regulations. These policies mandate a transition from traditional hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) with high global warming potential to natural or low-GWP alternatives, such as R290 (Propane), R32, CO2 (R744), and HFO mixtures.
This refrigerant transition affects the chemical stability of the system. Alternative refrigerants and their synthetic lubricants (like POE/PAG) are more hydroscopic than traditional mineral oils. Even small amounts of water contamination can cause ester hydrolysis, resulting in alcohol and acid formation. These acids corrode metallic parts and lead to compressor failure.
Taojun's DML-053 filter driers are designed to address these requirements. With a solid core composed of 100% 3A molecular sieve desiccant, our driers selectively adsorb water molecules while leaving refrigerant molecules unaffected. These components are designed to tolerate higher working pressures (up to 500 PSI / 35 bar), making them compatible with high-pressure systems like R410A and R32, helping operators adapt to new industry standards.
Our manufacturing and processing steps are aligned with major international standards to ensure product quality and environmental compliance:
Building a global brand through historical milestones and shared values
Factory Expansion Phase: Establishment of dedicated production buildings to scale up components manufacturing.
MES Intelligent Workshop: Integration of real-time monitoring and shop floor management software.
Globalized Smart Manufacturing: Implementation of fully automated assembly and advanced optical sorting cells.
We believe that a brand's value is built on its underlying corporate culture. We focus on four key values: Honesty, Innovation, Responsibility, and Cooperation.
Honesty: We adhere to transparent business practices, prioritizing quality and long-term client relationships. This commitment forms the basis of our market reputation.
Innovation: We continuously adapt our concepts, production equipment, and management models. By embracing new techniques, we prepare our systems to capture emerging opportunities in green cooling.
Responsibility: We design and manufacture our products to support client operations, minimizing the impact of system leaks or performance degradation.
Cooperation: We work to align resources and expertise across our operations, coordinating our teams to deliver reliable customer support.
Where Taojun components protect thermal loops around the world
Ice production cycles require strict control over refrigerant moisture to prevent freeze-ups at the expansion valve. Our driers work to protect ice maker systems, reducing maintenance call-outs and system downtime.
Food storage and transport systems require stable, continuous cooling. Taojun components filter and dry refrigerants under challenging operating environments, helping to safeguard perishable food stocks.
Our DML-053 and double-copper driers are integrated into domestic split systems to protect compressors and maintain energy efficiency across long operational lifespans.

Technical guidance for refrigeration engineers and system designers
The DML-053 core consists of 100% 3A molecular sieve desiccant. It selectively adsorbs moisture down to low levels while leaving refrigerant molecules intact, preventing chemical reactions that can form corrosive acids inside the system.
Yes. The 3A molecular sieve core is compatible with low-GWP refrigerants (such as R290, R32, R134a, R410A) and synthetic lubricants (POE/PAG). Its structural design supports high working pressures up to 500 PSI / 35 bar.
The standard model features a 3/8" connection, available in either ODS solder (copper-plated steel or pure copper tube ends) or SAE flare configurations to suit typical system designs.
We use automated argon arc welding for the shell connections. Every batch undergoes high-pressure nitrogen testing followed by helium leak detection with mass spectrometers to confirm joint sealing.
